Raffles Institution Boarding (RIB) provides some unique features where boys will have to stay in, resident teachers, acting as Boarding Masters/Mistresses, will take over the role of parents, mentors and teachers. Living needs, such as meals and laundry, are well provided for. Security, safety and welfare of the boys will be assured. In short, we strive to create a home away from home for our boarders, a home where they are part of a larger Rafflesian community.
The essence of boarding life does not lie in the quality of living conditions, although this cannot be disregarded. The real essence lies in the extent of care and concern extended, the companionship enjoyed, the close rapport with resident teachers and the strengthening of a young boy’s character.
Over at RIB, your son learns independence, forges bonds with fellow boarders and comes out more confident to take on the challenges of an ever-increasing globalised world.
