We have always maintained that good grades remain fundamental in the Experience of Total Education. And the consistently outstanding results which Raffles Institution produces gives unquestionable testimony to our ability as educators.

We also want to see the strengthening of a young man's character. We want our boarders to acquire a dimension to their personality that can come only from exposure to communal living and sharing.

Academic Excellence

It is very much our desire to share our expertise and experience to guide our boarders to new heights of academic achievement. We want to ensure that our culture of academic excellence is imbibed into our boarders, whether or not they are students of Raffles Institution.

Each boarder will hence have his academic progress closely monitored by the live-in Boarding Staff. Mandatory study sessions will ensure that he spends sufficient time on his homework and revision. In addition, resident house-tutors are always on hand to provide any necessary guidance.

Our ultimate goal is for your child to become an independent learner with aspirations of greater academic success.

Equipping Boarders

Self-discipline and responsibility will also be taught. Not through militarised regimen but through sharing, respecting others, helping others, fending for oneself, handling household chores, observing routines, undertaking responsibilities, and attending to priorities. Your child will be challenged towards maturity as he learns to appreciate the strengths and individuality of others.
